शादी के बाद मीरा ने महल में नारी शिक्षा, अनाथ बच्चों की देखभाल और विधवाओं के पुनर्वास जैसे कई अभियान शुरू किए। राज्य में महिलाएँ उन्हें “जननी रानी” कहने लगीं।
लोगों का समर्थन और रानी की महानता
धीरे-धीरे जिन लोगों ने मीरा का विरोध किया था, वे भी उसके कामों को देखकर प्रेरित हुए। मंत्री तक मीरा से सलाह लेने लगे। गरीब परिवारों की बच्चियों को शिक्षा और सम्मान मिला।
