In ancient times, Ayodhya city King Dasharath’s eldest son Shri Ram was born. He was religious, truthful and patient. When his father decided to hand over the throne to him, there was a festive atmosphere in the whole of Ayodhya. But then, an unexpected incident happened.
👑 Kaikeyi’s boon and Shri Ram’s exile
King Dasharath’s wife Kaikeyi used her boon and demanded that Shri Ram be sent to 14 years of exile. Hearing this, the entire palace was stunned.

“King, you had promised me two boons. I want that my son Bharat gets the throne and Shri Ram should be sent to exile.”
