अमायरा ने मुस्कुराकर कहा, “ठीक है दादी!” डुग्गू ने भी सिर हिलाया।
लेकिन थोड़ी देर बाद जब दादी बगीचे में गईं, तब डुग्गू ने देखा कि प्लेट में अभी दो गुलाब जामुन बचे हैं।
डुग्गू ने कहा, “अमायरा दीदी, क्या हम एक-एक और खा सकते हैं?”
अमायरा ने थोड़ी देर सोचा और बोली, “हम्म… दादी ने मना किया था, पर वो तो बाहर हैं।”
और फिर दोनों ने एक-एक गुलाब जामुन और खा लिए।
थोड़ी देर बाद दादी वापस आईं और बोलीं, “अरे! मेरे लिए एक भी नहीं बचा?” 😟
अमायरा और डुग्गू दोनों चुपचाप खड़े रहे। डुग्गू की आँखों में आंसू आ गए।
अमायरा ने दादी का हाथ पकड़ा और कहा, “दादी, माफ कर दो। हमने आपकी बात नहीं मानी और गुलाब जामुन खा लिए।”
दादी कुछ पल चुप रहीं… फिर मुस्कुराईं। 😊
“सच बोलने की हिम्मत दिखाना बहुत बड़ी बात है, बच्चों! तुम दोनों ने गलती की, लेकिन सच बोलकर अपना दिल साफ किया।”
उस दिन, दादी ने दोनों को एक सुंदर पुराना जादुई बक्सा दिखाया जो उनके बचपन की यादों से भरा था।
“ईमानदार बच्चों को ही ये दिखाया जाता है,” दादी ने कहा।

Amaira smiled, “Okay, Grandma!” Duggu nodded too.
Later, when Grandma went to the garden, Duggu noticed two Gulab Jamuns still on the plate.
“Di,” Duggu whispered, “Can we take one more?”
Amaira hesitated. “Hmm… Grandma said no, but she’s outside now.”
They quickly ate one more each.
When Grandma returned, she looked at the empty plate and said, “Oh! None left for me?”
Amaira and Duggu stood silently. Duggu’s eyes filled with tears.
Amaira gently held Grandma’s hand and said, “We’re sorry, Grandma. We ate them even though you said not to.”
Grandma paused… then smiled. 😊
