कृष्ण और फल विक्रेता की कहानी – श्रीकृष्ण की बचपन की लीला
बरसाना और गोकुल में श्रीकृष्ण और श्रीराधा के जन्म और पहले मिलन के बाद, पूरे ब्रज में आनंद और प्रेम का वातावरण व्याप्त हो गया।
अब बालकृष्ण की लीलाएँ धीरे-धीरे सबके हृदय को मोहने लगीं।
ऐसी ही एक अद्भुत लीला है – “कृष्ण और फल विक्रेता”।
गोकुल की गलियों में फल विक्रेता
गोकुल में प्रतिदिन सब्ज़ी और फल बेचने वाले लोग आते-जाते रहते थे।
एक दिन एक साधारण फल विक्रेता महिला अपने सिर पर फल की टोकरी रखकर गोकुल पहुँची।
वह गली-गली आवाज़ लगाती –
“फल लो, मीठे-मीठे फल लो!”
उसकी आवाज़ नंद बाबा के घर तक पहुँची।
नन्हें कृष्ण की मासूमियत
नन्हें कृष्ण उस समय आँगन में खेल रहे थे।
जैसे ही उन्होंने “फल लो, फल लो” सुना, वे दौड़कर माँ यशोदा के पास गए और बोले –
“माँ! मुझे भी फल चाहिए।”
माँ यशोदा मुस्कुराईं और बोलीं –
“बेटा, फल तो दाम देकर मिलते हैं। तुम्हारे पास क्या है देने को?”
कृष्ण मासूमियत से बोले –
“माँ, मेरे पास तो कुछ नहीं, पर मैं फल ले आऊँगा।”
फल विक्रेता से मिलन
कृष्ण छोटे-छोटे कदमों से दौड़ते हुए बाहर पहुँचे।
उन्होंने देखा कि फल विक्रेता महिला खड़ी है, टोकरी में आम, अमरूद, केले और मीठे बेर भरे हुए हैं।
कृष्ण ने अपनी छोटी हथेलियाँ आगे बढ़ाईं।
उनकी हथेलियों में कुछ अनाज के दाने पड़े थे, जो उन्होंने यशोदा के घर से उठा लिए थे।
कृष्ण का दान और महिला का भाव
फल विक्रेता महिला ने देखा –
- नन्हें कृष्ण की हथेली छोटी थी,
- अनाज के दाने गिर भी रहे थे,
- लेकिन उस मासूम चेहरे की चमक सबकुछ भुला देने वाली थी।
महिला भावविभोर होकर बोली –
“बाबा! तेरे इन दानों की कीमत इन सारे फलों से भी कहीं अधिक है।”
उसने कृष्ण की हथेलियों से अनाज लिया और बदले में टोकरी भरकर फल कृष्ण को दे दिए।
दिव्य आशीर्वाद
जब महिला अपने घर लौटी और टोकरी को देखा, तो वह दंग रह गई।
- उसकी टोकरी अब साधारण फल नहीं बल्कि सोने और रत्नों से भरी हुई थी।
- उसकी आँखों से आँसू बहने लगे और उसने कृष्ण को प्रणाम किया।
यह कृष्ण की दिव्य लीला थी।
उन्होंने संसार को यह संदेश दिया कि –
ईश्वर को दान, व्यापार या सौदे से नहीं, बल्कि प्रेम और श्रद्धा से प्रसन्न किया जा सकता है।

- कृष्ण ने यह सिखाया कि सच्चा दान निःस्वार्थ भाव से किया जाए।

After the divine birth of Radha and Krishna and their first meeting, the villages of Barsana and Gokul were filled with joy. Among Krishna’s many enchanting childhood pastimes, one of the sweetest is the story of “Krishna and the Fruit Seller.”
The Fruit Seller in Gokul
In the streets of Gokul, vendors often came selling vegetables and fruits.
One day, a poor fruit seller woman entered the village with a basket of fresh fruits on her head.
She called out –
“Fruits! Sweet fruits!”
Her voice reached the courtyard of Nanda’s house.
Little Krishna’s Innocence
At that moment, little Krishna was playing in the courtyard.
Hearing the call, he ran to Mother Yashoda and said –
“Mother, I want fruits too!”
Yashoda smiled and replied –
“Son, fruits are bought with payment. What do you have to give in return?”
Krishna innocently said –
“I have nothing, Mother, but I will bring fruits.”
Krishna Meets the Fruit Seller
Krishna ran out with his tiny feet.
He saw the woman with her basket full of mangoes, bananas, guavas, and berries.
Krishna stretched out his small hands.
In his palms were just a few grains of rice he had picked from the house.
The Woman’s Love
The woman looked at Krishna’s innocent face.
- His palms were too small,
- The grains kept slipping away,
- But his smile was priceless.
Moved by love, she said –
“Child, these grains are worth more than all the fruits in my basket.”
She gladly poured her entire basket of fruits into Krishna’s tiny arms.
The Divine Blessing
When the woman returned home, she looked into her basket.
To her astonishment –
- The basket no longer contained fruits,
- It was now overflowing with gold and precious jewels.
Tears rolled down her eyes as she realized the grace of Krishna.
This was not a transaction, but a divine blessing for her devotion and pure heart.
