चालबाज शिष्य (मूर्ख ऋषि) – पंचतंत्र कहानी (हिंदी)

बहुत समय पहले, एक छोटे से आश्रम में एक वृद्ध ऋषि अपने शिष्यों के साथ रहते थे। ऋषि का हृदय दयालु था और वे हर किसी पर विश्वास कर लेते थे। उनके शिष्यों में से एक बहुत ही चालाक और कपटी स्वभाव का था। वह हर समय अपनी स्वार्थपूर्ति के लिए गुरु की सरलता का फायदा उठाता रहता।

गुरु का भरोसा

ऋषि अपने शिष्यों को शिक्षा देते थे कि “सच्चाई और ईमानदारी सबसे बड़ा धर्म है।” लेकिन चालबाज शिष्य यह सब सुनकर भी अपने स्वभाव से बाज नहीं आता। वह गुरु की आँख बचाकर लोगों से दान में मिली वस्तुएँ छुपा लेता और अपने लिए रख लेता।

गुरु की मूर्खता

ऋषि इतने भोले थे कि उन्हें कभी संदेह नहीं हुआ। एक दिन एक धनी व्यापारी ने आश्रम में आकर एक सुंदर गाय दान दी और कहा,
“गुरुदेव, यह गाय आपके शिष्यों के काम आएगी। इसका दूध सबके लिए उपयोगी होगा।”

ऋषि ने उस गाय की देखभाल का जिम्मा उसी चालाक शिष्य को सौंप दिया।

चालबाज शिष्य की योजना

शिष्य ने सोचा, “गाय मेरे पास है, क्यों न इसका दूध बेचकर पैसा कमा लूँ।” उसने ऐसा करना शुरू कर दिया। रोज़ वह दूध बाज़ार में बेचकर अपना लालच पूरा करता।

सच का पर्दाफाश

कुछ ही दिनों में बाकी शिष्यों ने ध्यान दिया कि गाय तो है, लेकिन आश्रम में दूध कभी पहुँचता ही नहीं। उन्होंने चुपके से चालबाज शिष्य का पीछा किया और उसकी करतूत पकड़ ली।

वे सब मिलकर ऋषि के पास पहुँचे और सारी सच्चाई बता दी।

ऋषि की सीख

ऋषि यह सुनकर बहुत दुखी हुए। उन्हें अपनी मूर्खता का एहसास हुआ और उन्होंने सबको बुलाकर कहा,
“जो व्यक्ति दूसरों के भरोसे के साथ छल करता है, वह कभी सुखी नहीं रह सकता। और जो गुरु बिना परखे शिष्य पर आँख मूँदकर विश्वास करता है, वह भी मूर्ख कहलाता है।”

चालबाज शिष्य को आश्रम से निकाल दिया गया।

Long ago, in a small hermitage, lived an old sage with his disciples. The sage was kind-hearted and trusted everyone easily. Among his disciples, there was one very cunning and selfish man who always tried to take advantage of the sage’s innocence.

The Sage’s Trust

The sage always taught, “Truth and honesty are the greatest virtues.” But the cunning disciple ignored these teachings and secretly kept the donations for himself.

The Sage’s Foolishness

One day, a wealthy merchant donated a beautiful cow to the hermitage and said,
“Respected sage, this cow will be useful for all your disciples. Its milk will keep everyone healthy.”

The sage, in his innocence, handed over the responsibility of the cow to the cunning disciple.

The Disciple’s Trick

The disciple thought, “The cow is under my care, why not sell the milk and earn money for myself?” He started selling the milk in the market every day.

Truth Exposed

Soon, the other disciples noticed that though the cow was there, no milk ever reached the hermitage. They secretly followed the cunning disciple and discovered his deceit.

They immediately reported everything to the sage.

The Sage’s Realization

The sage was heartbroken. He realized his foolishness and said,
“One who betrays trust can never be happy. And a guru who blindly trusts without testing is also a fool.”

The cunning disciple was expelled from the hermitage.

Moral of the Story

Blind faith without testing is foolishness.
Deceit and dishonesty always lead to downfall.
The relationship between guru and disciple should be built on honesty and trust.
